Software Engineer

Goldman Sachs, New York (United States)

Senior server-side developer with focus on event-driven websocket microservices and dependency inversion (Vert.x, Spring Boot).
Designed and developed "affinity" routing for stable per-user downstream load balancing with global per-datacenter automatic fail-over and fail-back.
Dramatically uplifted existing codebase with Prometheus instrumentation and alerting with backing Grafana dashboards.
Designed and developed ontological configuration deployment, which only affects processes across global fleet for which material changes occurred, and simple process scaling and placement.
Assisted in the design and rollout of server-side scrolling infrastructure for large tabular datasets.

Technical Architect

Fidessa corporation, New York (United States)

Primary focus on cross-team project design and execution as well as globally shared low-level infrastructure.
Fully designed and implemented generic, extensible InfoSec library shared by all sell-side software. World-wide rollout underway presently with no impact to performance.
Contributed to the design and fully implemented patent-pending Split and Borrow algorithm (US15587607) for the asynchronous maintenance of global risk limits.
Designed and managed the company's first cloud infrastructure installation (AWS), including monolith containerization (docker), internet-based cross datacenter connectivity and firewalling, and minimal footprint cost curve for machine types allowing functionality cost comparison to the existing datacenter.
Responsible for department-wide management of engineer activities, competitions, outings, feedback sessions, and intern program design and execution.
